7 injured in Cedar Point WildCat crash

Seven riders recieved minor injuries after one of the WildCat's cars crashed into a stopped car at the loading station Sunday. Luckily no one suffered serious injuries but three of the passengers were taken to the nearby Firelands Regional Medical Center as a precaution. There they recieved treatment and were released.
"We transferred seven people to our first-aid station for examination and treatment for bumps and bruises," said Robin Innes a Cedar Point spokesman. Because no one was admitted to the hospital the crash is being called an "incident" instead of an "accident" which would have required Cedar Point to file a report.
This isn't the first time the WildCat has been in the news. Back in 2008 a WildCat car didn't quite make it up a hill and rolled backwards into the car behind it. Nine people were injured then with eight of them being treated at the park's first aid station.
The WildCat has been running since 1970 with no significant problems on it's record.
