Police were called to Alabama Adventure in Bessemer Monday after altercations spread across the park. One witness, Felix Torres, described the situation as a "borderline riot" and said that he saw at least eight fights break out. Torres continued, saying that he saw chairs being thrown and at least three people taken away on gurneys.

"We did have a few kids get out hand. Those folks are basically gone. The park is still open," said Craig Randolph, Alabama Adventure's vice president and general manager. "We had some scuffles here and there. We worked with Bessemer police and our staff to get those folks out of here." Randolph however could not say if anyone was arrested or injured.
