American Idol's Kris Allen to be honored in Disney motorcade

Kris Allen, the latest entrant to American Idol's list of yearly rags-to-riches winners, will have a motorcade held in his honor this Friday at Walt Disney World.

The event will kick-off at 10 a.m. ET with the motorcade beginning its expedition at the front entrance to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The motorcade will finish the trip near Big Hat and the American Idol Experience building, clocking the voyage at about 15 minutes in total.

At 10:15 there will be a fan Q&A with Allen on stage outside the American Idol Experience building. The Q&A will wind up before the scheduled 11 o'clock AME show.

As with any Disney event, theme-park admission is required for attendance.
