California Adventure to get new Pixar parade

Disney's California Adventure has closed its Block Party Bash parade, which featured Pixar characters from Toy Story, The Incredibles, Monsters, Inc. and A Bug's Life in anticipation of a new parade to debut this summer. Replacing the Bash will be the Pixar Play Parade, which will star characters from every Pixar movie released thus far. Plans for the parade include periodic "wet zones" along the route, according to information from long-time Disney watcher David Michael. The Block Party Bash parade will be shipped to the newly-renamed Disney's Hollywood Studios, where it will be repackaged as a brand new parade.
