California Adventure's World of Color detailed

Details about World of Color, the new nighttime water show coming to Disney's California Adventure, have begun to emerge. In two separate posts, the LA Times reveals that the show will run for roughly 25 minutes, and will feature a host of new technologies to wow guests, including 1,200 programmable fountains capable of shooting water 200 feet into the air, individual controls for lighting, color intensity and angle, and laser, fog, and fire effects. This will all be supported via a one-acre underwater superstructure that's larger than a football field, as will the water mist screens, which can stretch 50 feet high and 380 feet wide, and will provide the backing for animated clips from Allce in Wonderland, The Lion King, Pocahontas, Toy Story, and Wall-E. This array of effects will be tied to the Sherman Brothers-penned musical score from the 1960's television show.
