California's Great America 2009 Haunts revealed

The Halloween Haunt 2009 festivities at California's Great America are about to get a little spookier. The Santa Clara-based park will be adding a haunted maze titled "Toy Factory," bringing the total count up to six, and will be adding at least one new show. The new show will be called "Shocking Sideshow of Freaks" and will be joining the two returning shows, "Dave Hill's Haunted Hypnotics" and "Ed Alonzo's Psycho Circus of Magic and Mayhem."

The returning haunted mazes are:

• CarnEvil
• Club Blood
• Cornstalkers
• Slaughterhouse
• Werewolf Canyon

The returning scare zones are:

• Dead Man's Cove
• Gauntlet
• Underworld Alley
• Witch Doctor's Trail

Halloween Haunt 2009 will be available Friday and Saturday nights throughout October, as well as Oct. 25. [LA Times]
