Cedar Fair threatens litigation over 49ers stadium
By Ryan McClung | Filed under News on Jul 30, 2009

Cedar Fair Entertainment this week sent a letter to Santa Clara City Manager Jennifer Sparacino to voice concerns over over the new 49ers stadium being built in company's Great America parking lot.
The new 68,000-seat stadium could hinder traffic and greatly decrease available parking for the amusement park, portends Cedar Fair CEO Richard Kinzel. Discussion of the new stadium will continue over the next six to eight weeks. Kinzel wants more information about the project made available and would like assurance that the proper attention is paid to the park's concerns over the deal. Park management has threatened that legal action would be taken if these demands are not met. [The Mercury News via Coaster Buzz]
