Cedar Point's WindSeeker's opening delayed
By Blaine David Gilliam | Filed under News on May 10, 2011

The new 30-story swing ride that swings its 64 passengers at a top speed of 30mph will not be rideable come Cedar Point's opening on the 14th of May. The ride cost $5 million and is manufactured by the Dutch-based company Mondial. The reason behind the delayed opening is the bad weather that northwest Ohio has experienced of late.
Fortunately, the delay is expected to only be a matters of days. Said Cedar Fair president Dick Kinzel, "I think we're talking, at the latest, Memorial Day." Lets hope this is the case as this looks like one cool swing ride.
