Construction Update: Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit

A team of Lifthill editors was recently at the Universal Orlando resort, and managed to grab a few pictures showing the construction progress on Universal Studios Florida's upcoming Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit roller coaster. Although the top piece of the coaster has yet to be installed — a process commonly referred to as "topping off" — the shots show that a majority of the track has been laid for the turnaround down near the park's entrance, although no landscaping or other features have been added. The coaster's opening was recently delayed until late summer. Continue reading to see more pictures.
