Cypress Gardens pass-holders given free pass

Last month Lifthill reported on Cypress Garden's closure during the winter season to retool the attractions the park will offer. As a peace-offering, Cypress Gardens Co-Owner Rob Harper and Silver Springs General Manager Terry Turner have announced that season pass-holders will be allowed free admission to Silver Springs during the Festival of Lights.
Via Orlando Attractions Magazine: "We continue to formulate a program for our season passholders, and feel this opportunity at Silver Springs is an immediate benefit for the holiday season," Cypress Gardens co-owner Harper stated.
The Silver Springs 16th annual Festival of Lights runs Dec. 5 and 6, 12 to 24, and 26 and 27. Season pass-holders will also be granted access to the Traveling Vietnam Vets Wall Dec. 5 through 7 and can attend each the Diamond Rio, The Temptations, and Ronnie Milsap concerts on Dec. 6, 12, and 20, respectively.
