New details of Germany's Nurburgring RingºRacer coaster, which will take the title of World's Fastest Roller Coaster when it debuts, have emerged. The official RingºWerk park website lists the coaster as accelerating from 0-135mph in just 2.5 seconds, creating an intense, G-force-fueled experience. By comparison, the current title holder of World's Fastest, Six Flags Great Adventure's Kingda Ka, goes from 0-128mph in 3.5 seconds. In addition to these new details, new pictures of the ride have been posted to Screamscape, showing the ride's F1-themed cars, as well as portions of the track. According to the report, park officials hope to have the ride operational in time for the track's July F1 race, but as the park doesn't open until August 15th, the plan is to run the RingºRacer on a pay-per-ride basis in the interim.
