The sign for Kings Island's latest addition to its lineup of roller coasters, Diamondback, now adorns the entryway to what will be the park's tallest and fastest roller coaster.
The roller coaster stands 230 feet at its highest peak and takes riders down a 215-foot fall at a 74-degree angle in the first drop. The coaster boasts 10 vertical drops with two helixes and an ending with a splash. The total length of the ride stands at 5,282 feet and will reach speeds of up to 80 miles per hour.
Diamondback will be opening to the public at King's Island on Saturday, April 18.
