Disney announces 2009 Star Wars Weekends dates

Walt Disney World has announced the dates for the 2009 edition of Star Wars Weekends, hosted at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, FL. Unlike past years, which has seen the event pushed primarily into June, this year's event will be split between May and June. The event brings in past actors from Star Wars films, Lucasfilm alums, and behind-the-scenes folks, as well as over 50 different costumed characters from the Star Wars universe, and is also known for its unique merchandise, which is often available only during the event. The dates are as follows:

May 22-24
May 29-31
June 5-7
June 12-14
