Disney brings back Shag

Shag, the artist known in Disney circles for having done design work in 2003 for merchandise for the Enchanted Tiki Room's 40th anniversary and in 2005 for Disneyland's 50th anniversary, will be making a return to Disneyland as the park hosts yet another event for the popular Californian artist.

August 2009 will mark the 40th anniversary of one of the parks most storied attractions, the Haunted Mansion. In commemoration of this event, Shag has created 13 new pieces depicting different areas of the attraction in his highly recognizable style.

The prints will first go on sale at a cocktail party on the evening of August 8th and Shag will be signing prints on Sunday, August 9th. Click through to see the prints.
