Disney buses crash at WDW, 12 injured

Two accidents in two weeks at Walt Disney World does not make for a good track record. Two buses crashed yesterday at the WDW Resort outside the Contemporary Resort, injuring 12 passengers on board. The collision occurred at about 2:40 yesterday afternoon when one bus was attempting to merge as the road narrowed from three lanes to two. The second bus did not stop in time to avoid the crash.

The accident comes only 11 days after the fatal monorail collision at the same resort which ended with the death of one monorail operator.

Andrea Finder, Disney spokesperson, told The Orlando Sentinel the company will be conducting its own investigate to ensure the "well-being of those involved."
