Disney California Adventure unveiled a new park entrance today. The new entrance is part of the park's $1 billion makeover. The entrance is themed after the entry facade of the historic Pan-Pacific Auditorium and houses 18 turnstiles, with room for more, if needed.
The California Adventure project is sheduled to be completed next year and will include many new features. One such feature being worked on is Buena Vista Street, a new entrance corridor. New shops and venues are also being contructed to line the main corridor. Other features include Oswald's Filling Staion, the store Los Feliz Five and Dime, and Cars Land which is sheduled to open in 2012 and is based on the "Cars" movie.
