Disney phasing out deals as economy recovers
By Ryan McClung | Filed under News on Dec 9, 2009

Disney CEO Robert Iger stated today that his company will begin phasing out discounts and deals currently offered as the economy improves throughout 2010. This turn from vistor-seeking to profit-seeking was seen most recently when both Walt Disney World and Disneyland increased the price of entry. "We will be able to continue to dial [park and hotel discounts] back over the latter part of 2010,"said Iger. "We are not making these commitments yet until we see the marketplace conditions."
