Disney reveals MK Space Mountain queue details

Disney has revealed some interesting details about the new queue in the revamped Space Mountain scheduled to reopen next year at Disney's Magic Kingdom. The new queue will offer guests waiting to board the ride an opportunity to play video games. The number of different games offered have not been revealed, but the one detailed has guests operating blasters to shoot asteroids from the runway to clear the way for shuttle launches. According to Walt Disney Senior Show Designer Alex Wright, the games are all meant to enhance the "story" of the attraction, recruiting guests in queue to complete tasks one would expect may be required on long space travels.
