Disney sells extra WDW land

Disney is selling off extra plots of land on the perimeter of its Walt Disney World resort, reports the Orlando Sentinel. Among the land sold includes 53 acres on Sherberth Rd. south of the Animal Kingdom park and some 47 acres north of the Magic Kingdom.
Both areas are expected to be developed into residential and rental properties. As well, another 30 acre plot west of the Animal Kingdom Lodge is being prepared for sale. Disney owns 27,000 acres that make up the Walt Disney World resort.
