Disney to charge for Food & Wine Festival demos

The formerly free seminars and cooking demonstrations at Disney's Food & Wine Festival at Epcot will no longer be quite so free. This year, Disney will begin charging $8 for the chance to watch the demonstrations.

Previously, Disney would charge for premium food and wine tastings, but guests who couldn't afford to spend the extra money could still get in on the action by watching the master chefs do their work. It seems this may just be one more victim of the economic recession and Disney's not-as-great-as-expected earnings. [Orlando Restaurant Guide via TPI]
