Disney World reports 11 second quarter injuries

Walt Disney World has reported that the multi-park resort saw 11 injuries during the second quarter of 2009, making it the only major Florida resort to do so. The injuries, mentioned in new state filings and reported on by the Orlando Sentinel, are scattered across the WDW's four theme parks and two water parks. According to the filings, the injuries included a 77-year-old man becoming disoriented and sick on Expedition Everest in Disney's Animal Kingdom, a 55-year-old man who experienced chest pains aboard Rock 'n Roller Coaster with Aerosmith at Disney's Hollywood Studios — a second injury was also reported on RnR — a 57-year-old woman lost consciousness on Mission: Space at Epcot, and a seven-year-old boy who broke his arm while exiting a car at the Tomorrowland Speedway in the Magic Kingdom.
