Disneyland matches WDW price hike

As Walt Disney World raised its ticket prices on Sunday, so did its Southern California older brother. Prices for adult Single-day, Single-park tickets for both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure were hiked on Sunday to $72 from $69, while prices for children ages 3 to 9 also raised $3, from $59 to $62. Premium Annual Passes went from $389 to $429, Deluxe Annual Passes from $269 to $289, Southern California Annual Passes from $174 to $194, and Southern California Select Annual Passes from $134 to $144.
Suzi Brown, a Disneyland spokeswoman, told the OC Register that the economy didn't sway Disney officials to shy away from price increase this year, but that annual passholders can still take advantage of a monthly payment plan to help pay for their passes. "Our pricing is based on the value of the experience we deliver," Brown said. Single-day, Single-park passes to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure have gone up by $3 in each of the last four years.
