Disneyland's Grad Nite moving after 50 years

The hosting of the private Grad Nite parties for high school seniors will be moving to Disney California Adventure starting in 2013. This news comes as Disney California Adventure is currently undergoing a $1-billion expansion.

Suzi Brown, a Disneyland Resort spokeswoman on the move. "We are in the final year of our major expansion at Disney California Adventure, so logistically Disneyland makes the most sense for 2012. We are excited to make the expanded Disney California Adventure park available for Grad Nite in 2013."

Also starting next year Grad Nite participants will recieve park-hopper tickets for both parks during the day before the overnight parties. On a sad note Walt Disney World has announced that this year will be the last for it's Grad Nite.
