Disneyland's 'third gate' on hold... for now

Hopes for the fabled "third gate" that was supposedly coming to Disneyland have been squashed for the time being. The Harbor Blvd. Strawberry Field that was the most likely location for Disneyland's future third gate has been paved over to make way for a parking lot. Further complicating the situation, plans for Anaheim's proposed fixed rail system has the rail running through part of that same land. The parking lot should, however, help to alleviate parking problems during Disneyland's busiest days.
