Disney's Pirate & Princess on hold

It seems that Disney's annual Pirate & Princess party events may be coming to an end. Screamscape reports that some unnamed sources have informed them that the seemingly successful event at the Magic Kingdom bas been placed on indefinite hold due to the expectation of low attendance numbers in 2009.

Perhaps more telling than anything is a completely blank Pirates & Princess events calendar on the WDW website. Stay tuned for updates as they come.
