Firefall set to open at California's Great America
By Charles Starrett | Filed under News on May 13, 2008
Firefall, a newly moved and rethemed Huss Top Spin ride, is set to open at California's Great America following a three week delay. The 60-foot Firefall will send guests spinning and flipping through both fire and water effects at speeds of up to 20mph, according to the LA Times. The ride's opening was postponed while parts for the seat-restraint system were shipped from the ride's manufacturer in Germany to its new home at California's Great America near San Francisco. Firefall was built in 1993, and was formerly known as Texas Twister.
