Disney is offering free admission to Walt Disney World and Disneyland parks to everyone who visits on a birthday throughout the year of 2009. In addition to free admission, birthday park-goers will also enjoy special events tailored to the birthday celebration such as new theme park entertainment and attractions. This campaign - that has only been confirmed through the end of 2009 - is part of Disney's "What Will You Celebrate" promotion that hopes to attract more attendees for "celebration vacations."

The first person to take advantage of Disney's 2009 offer is Andrew DaCosta of Seattle. DaCosta claimed his "Free On Your Birthday" registration at the Magic Kingdom Guest Relations window at 7:31 a.m. on Jan. 1 in celebration of his 49th birthday.
