Halloween theme revealed for Disneyland

Disneyland is theming the park's fireworks show and Space Mountain roller coaster this year for Halloween. Dubbed "Halloween Time," the themed event will run from Sept. 25 through Nov. 1 and will be included with the price of admission.

The "Ghost Galaxy" theme at Space Mountain will feature a new soundtrack and Halloween-themed projections throughout the ride. "Ghost Galaxy" was first introduced at Hong Kong Disneyland in 2007.

The fireworks show will be hosted by Jack Skellington of "Nightmare Before Christmas" and will include many Disney villains from various films. Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and The Queen of Hearts will be roaming the theme park, signing autographs and handing out treats.

Next door at Disney's California Adventure, "Mickey's Trick-or-Treat Party" will feature games, music and a Disney character parade. This event runs during the following dates:

• Oct. 21-23
• Oct. 28-31
