For all the diehard Kitty fans out there, who live in or visit China, there's finally a place to go and be surrounded by your favorite cartoon's world. In 2014 a $215 million Hello Kitty theme park will be arriving in China's Zhejiang province, which is about three hours west of Shanghai.

This will be the first Hello Kitty park outside of Japan where the cat made her first appearance in 1974. The park has been dubbed "The Cutest Place in Earth" and is expected to bring around a million visitors through it's doors a year. This park joins Kitty's parent company Sanrio's two other parks Puroland and Harmonyland, located outside Tokyo and in the Kyushu prefecture respectively.

The theme park will offer rides, shows, games, parades, and movies all based on Hello Kitty of her friends. Hello Kitty Theme park is the second theme park to be announced for China this year with the groundbreaking already taken place for Shanghai Disneyland in April.

Visit th Los Angeles Times if you are interested in the new Hello Kitty adventure.

What happened to all the Sanrio junk collected by generations of little girls? They could be used as landfill to build more reclaimed land in Shanghai.

I'd like to know how large a Sanrio collection, Tiger Mom Amy Chua's Ivy League bound daughter was allowed to accumulate.
