Invertigo to be closed for two months

The Invertigo roller coaster at California's Great America will remain closed for at least two months following the malfunction that caused the ride grind to a halt, stranding riders for hours. The closure will give park and state officials time to determine what caused the the coaster's sudden stop and hopefully figure out how to keep it happening again. This is the third time since 2000 that the roller coaster has malfunctioned. [Mercury News]
