The Kilimanjaro Safaris ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom has reopened after a truck engine fire caused the ride to shut down Sunday, Feb. 10. According to a Walt Disney World spokesperson, the fire was caused by a damaged engine hose. The spokesperson said that park guests riding in the vehicle were evacuated; an eight-year-old girl injured her knee exiting the truck was taken to a local medical center, three others were treated on-site for minor injuries. No animals were near the truck when it broke down; the faulty hose has been replaced and the truck is fully operational again.
