King Kong coming to Universal Studios in '4D'
By Ryan McClung | Filed under News on May 20, 2009

Universal Studios Hollywood has finally released some details about the King Kong section of the Studio Tour revamp scheduled for completion in 2010.
Universal is implementing a combination of robotics and 3D projections to create what the attraction's creators are billing a "4D" experience.
The attraction is based on Peter Jackson's re-imagining of King Kong and will place guests in a virtual, three-dimensional cave–complete with over-sized bats–while the track rumbes as King Kong battles dinosaurs from every side.
Lifthill will report further on the return of the world's number-one giant gorilla as more details are made available.
