Legoland California has cancelled its plans to honor the late Michael Jackson with a four-inch LEGO likeness in its Miniland U.S.A. area due to "unresolved legal issues," SF Weekly reports. "We were looking forward to installing a small tribute to Michael Jackson in Miniland," said the park's general manager Peter Ronchetti. "However, legal matters have come to light that prevent us from displaying the model in the park." The miniature figure of Jackson would have joined other notable celebrity miniatures at the park, including Elvis Presley, Barack Obama, and Aretha Franklin, and was to be placed outside of the park's miniature Grauman's Chinese Theatre, surrounded by paparazzi and fans.
