Man skates down roller coaster at Trips Drill

Dirk Auer, 36-year-old daredevil from Germany, risked his life to literally skate across the Mammoth wooden roller coaster at Trips Drill park in Stuttgart, Germany. Auer hit speeds of 56mph as he jetted across the the 860 meter track. He traversed the length of the track in only 60 seconds.
This isn't the first time Auer had attempted something like this. He made another attempt in 1998 on a steel roller coaster but failed. That doesn't mean the wooden roller coaster was a cake-walk. "This was a very dangerous stunt because there were so many factors to consider," he told Daily Mail. "The roller caster is wooden and so unlike rides made from iron and steel there was always a chance of the odd nail or screw that would not be entirely flat."
