More George Lucas coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

George Lucas and Disney may be looking to expand the two Lucas-optioned franchise areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios — The Star Tours area and the Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular — into an entire "Lucas-land." According to
an article by Jim Hill, a remake of Star Tours, tentatively dubbed Star Tours 2.0, is at the center of a larger plan to expand Lucas' area of the park from the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost all the way to Tatooine Traders. Parts of the plan are already in motion, as construction on a permanent Jedi Academy stage continues. Another probable move is a re-theming of the Backlot Express eatery, which supposedly be divided into two sections — a Star Wars-themed area and an Indiana Jones-themed area. Although parts of the plan are certainly dependent on Lucas' approval of the revised Star Tours attraction and ABC's ability to secure the rights to the Star Wars television series, it's quite possible that at least some of these proposed changes will end up in the park.
