Mt. Olympus to continue 'Night at the Theme Park'

Though not yet granted an ordinance exception, Mt. Olympus theme park in Wisconsin Dells, WI will continue its "Night at the Theme Park" event four evenings of each week. The park is technically in violation of the area's "amusements and entertainment ordinance" due to the late operating hours.

"This concept works 'till 2 a.m.," said Mt. Olympus owner Nick Laskaris. "It doesn't create havoc." Laskaris feels that limiting his and other entertainment provider's operating hours is a "big mistake" on the part of the city.

The "Night at the Theme Park" event will continue until an exception to the ordinance is granted or the event is shut down by local authorities. [WISC News via Coaster Buzz]
