New water slide confirmed for Mountain Creek

Mountain Creek Water Park in New Jersey will see the opening of a new slide in 2009 dubbed Alpine Pipline. A newsletter circulated recently bills the new ride as taking riders through an "exhilarating tandem tube ride though walls of water as you spiral in and out of darkness to the cool spashdown below."

While a newsletter and teaser postcards are being circulated, the Mountain Creek Water Park website has no mention of this new attraction. The park will reopen for the new season on June 6, 2009.
