OSHA fines Walt Disney Co. for monorail crash

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Walt Disney Co. following the death of a monorail driver in the collision that took place at Walt Disney World in July 2009. OSHA has proposed a fine of $44,000 in penalties against Disney. The fine includes $7,000 for a violation related to the death of the monorail operator, the maximum fine allowable for a violation of this nature. [Business Week]
