Performer perishes at Disney's Hollywood Studios

A Walt Disney World cast member passed away Monday evening after an accident at Hollywood Studios park, say officials. A Disney spokesperson says 30-year-old stunt performer Anislav Varbanov was injured during rehearsal for the "Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular." The performer was rushed to a local hospital after injuring himself while attempting a tumbling roll, but later died.

There have been few details released concerning this tragic accident. Disney spokesperson Zoraya Suarez says the Indiana Jones show will not be performed Tuesday out of respect for the deceased cast member. [Miami Herald]
