Pixar's Luxo Jr. debuts at Hollywood Studios

Pixar's long-time mascot, Luxo Jr., has appeared at Disney's Hollywood Studios in animatronic form. Pixar is the animation company that created such digitally animated films as "Toy Story," "Finding Nemo" and "Wall-E." Luxo Jr. is the animated desk lamp that usually crushes the "i" in "Pixar" during each film's opening. The animatronic desk lamp demonstrates a surprising range of motion and expression. As much expression as can be expected of an animatronic desk lamp, anyway.
The installation of Luxo Jr. is part of Pixar's "Living Character" exhibit. The exhibit also includes an inflatable version of the house from Pixar's most recent film, "Up."
Look below for a video of Luxo Jr. in action. We've also included a video of the inflatable house from "Up" below that. [Gizmodo via BBG]
