SF Over Georgia to close water rides?
Filed under News on Jan 24, 2008

According to reports, three popular water rides at Six Flags Over Georgia may have to close this season due to a severe drought in the area. A Cobb County Water System official discussed possible restrictions during a meeting Tuesday with Six Flags officials, according to a park spokeswoman. The park's Skull Island, Splashwater Falls and Thunder River are at risk. "We were informed of the possibility we may not be able to operate those three rides," said a park official. Six Flags Over Georgia is scheduled to open weekends beginning March 1 and daily on May 23, the start of the Memorial Day weekend.
