Six Flag's president and CEO Mark Shapiro has announced a new deal for budget-conscious theme park-goers: 6 visits for only $49.99.
"It’s an exciting time of the year, as guests are looking to stay closer to home," Mark Shapiro told the Dallas-Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
The new pass, called the Big Six Pass, comes on the heels of Six Flag's commitment to invest $10 million in the park in new track, controls and trains for some of the park's aging attractions.
"While it’s tough and everyone has to watch their discretionary spending, value’s going to win out. Tried and true is going to win out. Those that are investing in the product are going to win out," said Shapiro.
The deal goes into effect at Six Flags Over Texas Friday, May 29.
