SFKK Superman cable examination decision delayed

A court decision on how to handle the examination of the broken ride cable from the Superman Tower of Power ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has been delayed. The cable is at least partially responsible for

an accident that severed the feet of 13-year-old Kaitlyn Lasitter on June 21. Circuit Judge Barry Willett ruled last month that lawyers for the state department, theme park, and the Lasitter family had until last week to agree on what tests must be performed on the cable and which company to do them. The agreement must now be reached by Sept. 7.
