Side Attractions: Sept. 30, 2009

Today on Side Attractions we take a look at a new parade at Six Flags Great America, a big Kings Island Halloween snafu and a disappointment for Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights festivities.
• Six Flags Great America has announced the addition of a new "Glow In The Park Parade" for the 2010 season. The first parade is scheduled for May 29, 2010.
• Kings Island has found itself in a bit of hot water after it decided it was okay to display scenes of deceased celebrities in skeleton form at its Halloween Haunt event. Depicted were people such as Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger and Billy Mays. Though the scenes have since been removed, you can see photos of them at WLWT. [Via Screamscape]
• Universal Orlando's Halloween Horror Nights kicked off this past weekend but guests may find the absence of the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit roller coaster something of a disappointment. However, the roller coaster may be available for the latter half of Halloween Horror Nights 2009.
