Six Flags Inc. has officially been delisted from the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). As was previously reported on Lifthill, Six Flags Inc. was scheduled to be delisted due to failure to meet the NYSE's strict guidelines; namely, Six Flags Inc. held too high a debt load on the company's balance sheet to continue trading.

Six Flags Inc. will instead trade on the OTC (over-the-counter) Bulletin Board for the foreseeable future under the ticker symbol "SIXF." The OTCBB is overseen by the NASD, the regulatory group that supervises NASDAQ, but is not part of the NASDAQ stock exchange.
