Six Flags Discovery Kingdom opening skatepark

According to various reports, Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will add a skateboard park to coincide with the opening of the new Tony Hawk Big Spin roller coaster. The Fuzion Zone skate park will feature a slalom course, jumps and ramps, and will be included in admission to Discovery Kingdom as part of an "experimental marketing" campaign between the park and local board maker NextSport. In addition, professional riders are expected to make appearances in a demonstration area throughout the year.
