Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom Chang coaster land to become water park

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom has begun the dismantling of the popular Chang roller coaster and the land will become the future site of the Bonzai Beach water park. The water park is scheduled to open in 2011, but little other information about it has been released. The Chang roller coaster is set to be transferred to another park. While Six Flags representatives have been coy about which park it is headed to, it is a pretty safe bet that the roller coaster is headed to Six Flags Great America. Long-running rumors have pegged the roller coaster's reopening at its new home sometime in 2011--the same year Bonzai Beach is set to open. [Courier-Journal]
