Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom's Chang roller coaster to be removed

The news was first broken in grand rumor fashion, but has since been at least partially confirmed by local news: The Chang roller coaster at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is coming down. The roller coaster has long been rumored to end up in Six Flags Great America by 2011, but only recently has the possibility of the original coaster's early demise been discussed. Currently, rumor has it that the Chang removal at SFKK is delayed only because of budget constraints. It seems the Northwest Territory at SFKK will also not open for the 2010 season due to the same tight budget. [Screamscape]
