Six Flags has opened its newly-revamped Texas Giant. After enhancing the ride, Six Flags hopes to claim the title of "best wooden roller coaster in the world." With trains that pay homage to the 1961 Cadillac Deville, the ride will have a record-breaking bank of 95 degrees. Each train is 48 feet long and holds 24 passengers, with lap bars that are custom designed with a saddle horn.

The new and improved Texas Giant will be opened on April 22, on the 50th anniversary of Six Flags Over Texas' opening.
