Six Flags Over Georgia is going green
By Ryan McClung | Filed under News on Aug 13, 2009

Six Flags Over Georgia representatives have announced that the park is "going green." The company-wide measure includes an overall reduction in fuel and electricity use within the park.
The Six Flags Railroad has already been converted to run purely on vegetable oil in place of the diesel fuel it once used. The newly converted Railroad will be reopened to the public on August 15. Lights throughout the park are being replaced with highly efficient LED lamps that will lead to reduced emissions of green house in addition to a decrease in electricity use. [WOTC]
